A new Fundamental right

The Right of Children (from 6-14 yrs) to Free and Compulsory Education is an extremely important Act which has been delayed for a very long time. I’m happy that it  shall be declared as a Fundamental right. This act is an order to all private educational institutions to reserve 25 percent seats for the weaker section students.  India has got its independence but a child’s education has somehow been neglected and did not materialise till today. The state governments should take total responsibility in ensuring that not a single child in any family is neglected. We, as students can help the government in identifying the drop outs and non-schools goers by the use of technology. Lets join our hands together to give education  to a child. We can share our knowledge by becoming part time staff at the schools started due to this Act and make India shine. Lets not deprive the kids of what we were not deprived of as children. Kapil Sibal has made the right move and we must appreciate him for his efforts at realising the fact finally, though late.
