How did Hanuman describe Rama to Sita?

Sundarakanda is one of the most beautiful parts of Valmiki’s Ramayana. It contains the secret knowledge to finding one’s true self and also to build a strong character to thrive in the world. As the story goes, Hanuman finds Ashoka Vatika (the place where Ravana held Sita against her wishes) and finds Mother Sita under the Shimshupa tree (also called the tree of heaven or the most beautiful tree in the vegetable kingdom). She is frightened and shook because of the treacherous acts of Ravana and doesn’t initially trust Hanuman when he presents himself. Finally, when Hanuman describes the qualities of Rama and Lakshmana, she trusts him to be of good intention and a messenger of Rama. The description of Rama and Lakshmana’s qualities was beautifully presented in the following Slokas of the 35th sarga in the Sundarakanda.

रामः कमलपत्त्राक्ष स्सर्वसत्त्व मनोहरः।
रूपदाक्षिण्य सम्पन्नः प्रसूतो जनकात्मजे।।5.35.8।।

तेजसाऽदित्य सङ्काशः क्षमया पृथिवीसमः।

What are you consistent about?

This is a question I often ask myself, and every time I look at my life, I use the answer to understand my life journey more. There must be something that we do on a consistent basis other than the general chores. If the life we lead does not contain regularity, we are bound to get unsatisfied or distressed easily, that could also just be me. In regularity, I find discipline and in discipline I find freedom. Once our body gets used to a regular routine or a scheme of things, it becomes easier to work with that schedule. We begin to like that schedule and on the days that you begin without a plan, you always have an option to fall back upon the regular pattern in your life. Starting a regular pattern is easier for some of us because of our professions but it is important to have regularity even in domains other than our profession. For example, it becomes useful to have regularity when it comes to learning or reading every single day. When we have a day that begins without a plan or when we are clueless about what to do on that day, If we have been consistent about learning or reading, we can easily fall back onto this habit on the unplanned day as well. 32 unique forms of Ganesha

Ganesha or Ganapathi is the God who is known popularly as the remover of obstacles. Yes, it’s true but he is also known to grant wishes of his devotees and give them special boons. According to the Puranas, the fourth lunar day after the new moon and full moon is called a Chaturthi in Sanskrit and it is considered an auspicious day for the worship of Ganesha. The chaturthi or the fourth day in waxing phase of the moon in month of Bhadrapada is celebrated worldwide as Ganesh Chaturthi (भाद्रपद शुक्ल चतुर्थी). The nine days that begin from Chaturthi (Sep 10, 2021) are celebrated in India with great festive splendor as the Ganesh Navaratri festival. Texts that describe the 32 forms of Ganapathi or Ganesh are the Mudgala Purana and the Sritattva Nidhi.
